Wendy and I made the pilgrimage to Dreysville, Iowa to the Field of Dreams.  What a great site.  While the weather was rainy and dreary, it did not dampen my spirits.  I recommend the trip to any baseball lover.  The field is still in pretty good shape and the people are friendly.  The rain did give me one advantage--I was able to go on the field and enjoy it myself, without the hustle and bustle that a sunny day would have brought.  The outfield corn had just been planted.

While our baseball gloves stayed in the car due to the rain, the experience was something I'll never forget and I hope to one day bring my family and friends back to Dreysville.  I have to thank Wendy for twisting my arm to go, as I didn't think it would be very fun in the rain.
